Attire

Closed toe shoes are required. It is helpful to have a shirt that allows you full range of motion for your arms.

12+ Facility

12+ facility. You must be 12 or older and accompanied by an adult 18 or older to enter this facility. Friday and Saturday nights after 5PM, all persons must be 21+ with valid photo ID to enter and throw.

Food + Fully Drink licensed

This is a FULLY LICENSED venue serving beer, wine, cider and cocktails. You can BYO food and catering is also available!

announcing our first Urban Open marathon leagues!

We're adding marathon leagues to this year's Urban Open on Friday, August 1st! These leagues will be a great opportunity to get early entry to Urban Axes Baltimore, spend more time throwing with friends from far-flung regions, and enjoy a full league season's worth of practice before the tournaments begin!

We'll be hosting both a Standard Marathon AND a Premier Marathon, and both are available for registration below. Throwers must have a 12-month IATF Standard Average under 65 pts. to register for the Standard Marathon league, and the Premier Marathon will be open registration, meaning players of any average can register. This average cap allows us to offer two skill tiers and cater to more players.

To check your 12-month average, visit your axescores.com player profile and find the "Player Performance" widget; you can then select the "IATF Standard" ruleset from the drop down and filter for "Last 12 Months" to view your 12-month IATF Standard average.

Each player will throw 20 Standard or Premier Rules matches followed by a double elimination playoff! We need a minimum of 12 members to run each marathon league, and everyone will make the playoffs (even if we have more than 16 throwers!) Practice is at 8:30am and matches begin at 9am.
